We can either meet over the phone or online (or in person if you live in the Boston area.) My sessions with you will be an intimate, fully confidential experience in which we can create a strategy to achieve your individual health and lifestyle goals. Both Programs Introduce an Effective Whole Body and Mind Approach Focusing on: Food, Movement, Sleep, Stress, and Digestion.
1) Food choices can be increasingly difficult considering all the misinformation out there! Luckily, the evolutionary diet approach is fantastically simple: EAT REAL FOOD. I will help educate you to choose the foods that will best suit your specific lifestyle, weight loss goals, and health issues. I will teach you why today’s Standard American Diet (SAD) is making people fat and sick, and show you the path to freedom – freedom from yo-yo & fad diets, freedom from being controlled by your food & sugar cravings that SAD diets cause, and freedom from living with diet-related health issues! Eating real food is one of the most important factors for health. Once you are armed with the correct information, I am confident you will thrive!
2) If you are experiencing low energy, stress, and/or poor sleep, you will learn how these issues are often connected to each other – and to your diet, your perception, and your lifestyle. In my programs, we will take a wild journey together into the heart of what you are battling with and find solutions to these 3 most startlingly common and deceptively destructive issues facing humans in today’s go-go lifestyles. 3) “Trust Your Gut” – Most people don’t realize than about 80% of our immune system resides in our gut! An unhealthy gut is the foundation of many of the modern diseases you read about every day, or perhaps even suffer from. Most of these diseases are caused by poor or uninformed food choices. Most of today’s modern diseases did not exist before the advent of agriculture, processed grains, sugar production, and factory farming. I aim to help you heal your gut through a diet based on traditional food principles used for centuries.
4) Regular human movement is essential for good health. I will help you get more movement in throughout the day so you are not completely reliant on having to cram an exhausting gym session into your busy day in order to gain better fitness.
The truth is, most women do not have anyone to talk to at length about their food, weight, and lifestyle choices. The medical establishment most often focuses on alleviating symptoms with pills and “healing” with surgery. How many times have you asked your doctor what to eat to lose weight or ways to reduce stress and received an answer that you have already been trying unsuccessfully for years? While a doctor is necessary for serious conditions, ailments and injuries, a Health Coach can focus on your lifestyle and individual health & weight loss goals by actually listening to you to get a picture of where you are at – so we know which way to go!
